And all of a sudden it’s October and I haven’t written the roadmap update yet. We have been very busy with our different projects and the preparations for season 2 of the Global Endurance Cup. Read all about what we’ve done last month and what’s on the agenda for October.
Global Endurance Cup 2020/21
We are very happy to continue the journey with the Global Endurance Cup, which we started this past summer. After a short season 1, we are now preparing for our second season. From October until February, we will race on 10 iconic tracks around the world. There’s still room for some drivers to join us. Interested? Read more here!
Let’s start with the good news, shall we? Frederick Alonso has been working hard modeling and texturing all of the details for the Ginetta G60-LT-P1. As we’ve shared on our Discord, the car is really getting there. With the final touches on the interior, the car is almost ready to go out on track.
Now for the bad news… the member that was responsible for the physics side of our cars has disappeared and we haven’t been able to get in touch with him. As none of us has the knowledge to create good physics, we have a big problem on our hands. We are doing everything we possibly can to find a new physics engineer, but haven’t had any luck so far. Do you know your way around rFactor 2 physics or do you know someone who might be able to help us out? Feel free to contact me on Discord (@haasje33/@Danny de Haas), RD (@haasje33), S397-Forum (@haasje33) or by email (email@example.com).
As you might have seen, we have released our version of Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps earlier today. Especially Frederick Alonso and Chris Stockman have put countless hours into perfecting the base track from GPVWC and editing it to 2020 spec. Subscribe to the track here!
Meanwhile, we are also working on an update for Kyalami and we are planning to update and improve a few more tracks that are famous for endurance racing, starting with the tracks that will feature in the Global Endurance Cup.
As you can see, we are far from done with our modding work. To allow us to create new content and improve the quality of our content, we will have to make expenses. To cover these expenses, we kindly ask you to donate a bit of spare money through PayPal. Every donation, however big or small, is equally appreciated!
